This jacket represents the first garment designed and constructed by Bipasha Elizabeth Ling. As well as being worn by B.Ling. Unique One of
One. The exterior combines silk and double duchess silk, tailored with both machine and predominantly hand stitching. The interior is lined in baby blue silk, offering a chromatic contrast of delicacy against the structured outer shell.
The closure features a singular neon pink button, handmade and hand-painted in clay by the artist, functioning simultaneously as fastening device and sculptural embellishment. The jacket was worn by the artist and retains visible signs of wear, including surface stains, which serve as evidence of its lived history and originality.
